University of Dayton Summer 2008
"The UD Summer Student Artist-in-Residence (AIR) Program is an innovative partnership of the Department of Visual Arts, ArtStreet, and Residential Services. The program enlists UD student artists during the summer to create artworks for permanent installation in residence halls. Each artist is "commissioned" by a residence hall facility manager to address a problem area of the residence hall. A faculty group guides students through a twelve week process of site analysis, research, model making, proposal preparation, and artmaking."
